Your command center for stats, setup progress, and embed health.

Overview

The Home page is the first screen after you open Recently. It shows how your social proof is performing, guides you through setup, and warns when theme embeds need attention.

Performance stats

The stats bar at the top tracks views, clicks, and conversions. Use the widget filter to switch between:

  • Popup notifications: views, clicks, conversions
  • Inline messages: views
  • Push notifications: views, clicks, conversions

Date range presets include:

  • Today, last 7 days, last 30 days
  • Calendar quarters and BFCM (Black Friday / Cyber Monday)
  • Custom date range

Stats are aggregated from your storefront: they reflect real shopper interactions with Recently widgets, not invented numbers.

Getting started checklist

When you first install, Home shows a dismissible setup guide. Steps include:

  1. Enable popup notifications: turn on the Recently app embed in your theme
  2. Customize popup appearance: opens Appearance
  3. Enable push notifications: turn on the Recently Push app embed
  4. Customize push appearance: permission prompt design
  5. Add inline message block: place the block on a product page in the theme editor

The checklist dismisses once you complete the steps (or dismiss it manually). If you dismiss before the popup embed is confirmed live, Home may re-show the guide until setup is verified.

Feature cards

Below the checklist, feature cards link to Popup, Inline, and Push sections. Each card shows embed or block status:

  • Enabled: embed is on and the storefront probe succeeded
  • Disabled: embed is off in the theme editor
  • Broken: embed is on but scripts are not loading (often after an app update; re-save the theme or toggle the embed)

Notifications banner

Notifications are created automatically from Shopify orders. When you first install, Recently imports orders from the last 60 days so you can start right away without placing a test order. You can edit or delete individual notifications from Popup notifications.
